Past is always standing between me and the future, making it impossible to move on. In Dear Diary, I am trying to shake off that haunting burden by destroying my old diaries. The diaries don't disappear completely, remains are left behind. It would be more effective to avoid creating memory carriers or archives in the first place.
The installation consists of two parts: The remains of seven diaries and a video showing the destruction process. Dear Diary, is a finalized piece since after destroying the old diaries I haven't felt the need to start a new one.
